I created source RPMs to support easier installtion of the BCU SDK. I have prepared this packages for
Fedora Core 2, but the also work on other distribution. If you experience any problems or have problems on other
distributions, please report them.
To build the packages:
Download the source rpms from below.
Change as root to the directory containing the downloaded files and issue
rpmbuild --rebuild filename
for each source rpm. If a required package is missing, rpmbuild
should report it. Some dependencies are generated by one of these source rpms. Therefore first compile pthsem, then m68hc05-gnu
and finally the BCU SDK.
Newer versions having the ending tar.gz are recompiled using the command
rpmbuild -ta filename
Install the bcusdk RPM (as it dependes on all parts of the BCU SDK).
Note, that they can be older than the released sources.
For OpenSuSE, there are some precompiled packages available.
The following installation installation source can be added to the package manager:

For Fedora Core, there are some precompiled packages available.
